Scottish indie-rock outfit De Rosa are to support Doves next week at the following shows:
Apr 15th: Cambridge Corn Exchange
Apr 16th: Brighton Dome
Apr 17th: Birmingham 02 Academy
According to De Rosa’s label, Chemikal Underground:
it came about when De Rosa were down in Manchester, last month, to record a session for Marc Riley. Doves were next door recording for Radio 2, got talking, albums were exchanged and hey presto! Simple as that.
This is good news. De Rosa’s new album, Prevention, is one of 2009′s finest, and they deserve more exposure. I hope that Doves fans appreciate and enjoy what they hear.
