Former Arab Strap guitarist Malcolm Middleton has announced a free album launch party in honour of his forthcoming album, Waxing Gibbous:
If you’re in the Glasgow area I’m having an album launch at Mono this coming Sunday (31st May). I’m not sure what it’ll involve, probably some guest performances along with a cool DJ and a shambolic full-band set from myself. Entry is free and you’ll also be able to secure yourself a copy of my new album one day ahead of schedule from Monorail Records. Of course, you’ll also get the chance to feel like you’re a part of something rare and special as my fifth solo album is launched into the collective consciousness of our planet.

Sadly, I have a previous engagement so I can’t make it. But if you can, dear reader, then I recommend head down to Mono, for Middleton is great live.
