Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood has revealed that the beloved Oxford five-piece have entered the studio to begin work on their eighth studio album:
“We’ve just started work [in the studio] last week. It’s really cool and everything is sounding great. It’s early days and it is a bit like having a scrapbook at the moment because everything is up in the air, but it’s good to be back in the studio.”
Radiohead are, once again, working with producer Nigel Godrich.
Personally, I can’t wait.

I cannot wait for Radiohead’s new album.
It would be really interesting to see where they take their music from In Rainbows. They are after all notorious for their sudden change in music styles, and one cannot stop getting surprised when it comes to Radiohead.
I personally consider, In Rainbows as their most accomplished work and it places above OK Computer and Kid A for me. I would like to see them continue in the In Rainbows trend with the soft symphonic tunes, with a little of electronica,ever-magical Thom’s falsetto, and the underlying romantic feeling of the music.
