Indie-folk singer-songwriter Laura Marling has announced the title and tracklisting of her eagerly-anticipated second album, the follow-up to 2008′s Mercury-nominated Alas I Cannot Swim.
The new album, I Speak Because I Can, is due for release on 1st March 2010, via Virgin Records, and was produced by Ethan Johns (notable for working with Ray LaMontagne, Ryan Adams and the Kings of Leon). Marling will be touring the UK and Ireland from April.
