Tunng are back with fourth album due in March

London’s weirdest folk-pop group Tunng have announced the release date for their fourth studio album. The new record, … And Then We Saw Land (the band’s first since 2007), will be released on 1st March via Full Time Hobby. Frontman Mike Lindsay claims the band “wanted to make a record that would be a great live set, so I think we naturally started writing more powerful music.”

Lead single “Hustle” – according to Lindsay “a straight up relationship-journey / anti-commitment / love song – but by far the most happy-sounding ditty we’ve ever done”- will be available from all the usual outlets from 22nd February.

To whet your appetites, the band are offering album track “Don’t Look Down Or Back” as a free download. It’s a nice little tune, so click the link and check it out.
